A Summary Of Perou..

* Perou's style is very individual and his photos have a certain look to them. Most of Perou's portrait photos have a plain background and additional lighting. All of his photos tell a story and some of them are quite strange and make you wonder why the person is doing what they are doing and why Perou presented them like that.

* Perou's Technique is very particular for his portrait photos, most of them are taken in a studio with blank or clashing background to what the person is wearing. I think that all of his photos have been edited using photoshop or another editing program. If the photograph is taken somewhere out of the studio the background reflects the idea of the photo or is edited to give the photo a certain look.

*Perou tells the viewer a story behind almost every photo, he engages the viewer in his photos by complicating the story behind it and making the viewer really think about what he is trying to get across. He shows the narrative of his photos by varying the backgrounds he uses, through the expression on the models face and their body language.

*The photos i looked at by Perou are ones that he took recently, in the last 5 years. They were taken when he is famous and well know for what he is doing. I think that he has gotten popular at what he is doing and he has had a lot of time to get good at it and to practice and experiment with what sort of style photographs he wants to take.

Opinion Of Perou

I think that Perou is a great arist that has come a very long way in his career. He does a lot of different types of photos and when he does commercial photgraphy he expresses the artists from a different/ unusal angle or very positively and he makes sure that the artist is the main focus of the photo. When he shoots things of his own he has a great and individual taste. He definately knows how to take an amazing photo and you can tell what composition rules he uses and how he uses them. I think that his ideas are sort of influenced by his earlier work as a fetish photographer. Overall I love his work and how quite alot of his photos tell a story to the viewer and he's just great.
